Beat: A level three sex offender has moved within a block of my apartment building. He was in jail for having "sexually assaulted" multiple woman at knifepoint. His real name is Doulgas and one of his alias's is Diamond. He had been in jail since 1991 and was released within the last three months. I had a policeman knock on my door yesterday with a packet with information about the guy. I guess according to Megan's Law, you must be notified if you live within two blocks of a level three sex offender by a policeman who gives you the information in person.
