Why just call the Turn? I guess this has nothing to do with her stats, but because she's 2+2'er?

No, because unless she has diamonds then you are WA/WB. And if she has diamonds then to price her out now you have to raise more and that pot-commits you for your whole stack with TPTK.

Checking behind on the turn is tough.

If I check the river and then have to call a bet I'm out of this site forever.

I only call the turn. By raising you pump up the pot with only a pair and basically commit yourself to call a big river bet in case villain has a real hand.

Yeah, that make sense. The disadvantage of calling the turn is if she leads out 1/2 pot bet on River, then what would we do. I know this now depends on a read, but assume that she's a standard TAG and a bit tricky.

I guess by raising the Turn, I can easily fold if she leads out on River. Or I can check down to go to showdown relatively cheap (which is the case here) in comparison to calling the Turn and calling 1/2 psb on River.

I like your line Jay as long as that was your plan. I think it was fine that you essentially set your price on the turn then planned on folding to further aggression.
