Re: ps: drawing hand overpush
Not readless, I would need to be pretty sure i could win with top pair. Not sure the buyin but SB line seems pretty strong.

Re: ps: drawing hand overpush
I think you played it well. SB lead looks weak, looks like he's trying to find out where he stands. With OESD and two overs it's a standard push.

Re: ps: drawing hand overpush
that fine. that stack size is too awkward for any kind of other aggressive move.
obv you could just call, and try to take away on the turn |

Re: ps: drawing hand overpush
Not sure I like this too much readless. You beat nothing right now. He probably has SOMETHING. He's also getting 2:1. Best case for you is 14 outs twice, but does he really ever have a hand that doesn't take up at least 3 of those (very rarely I think)? He needs to fold a bunch for this to be good, doesn't he? What do you put him on that he folds? 77? A8?
That said, I don't know what a better play is. I don't think you can fold this, so maybe call and check out turn isn't so terrible getting 4:1 and 8-9:1 implied. |
