You're ahead of AK, AQ, and TT. JJ, KK, and AA are smoking you. I'd probably fold to the turn raise

edit: didn't see villain wasn't deep enough to make calling the turn raise reasonable.

calling to hit a 2 outer on 1 street might not be profitable over the long run, ducy

My standard preflop open is $2 here.

I think an unknown's preflop 3b range here is {TT+, AJs+}.

Villain's flop check I think means AA and KK become hugely less likely.

Turn minraise could mean anything from an unknown, but TT now disappears from his range. So I think we are looking at JJ, AJ and whiffed overs floating/bluffing. But I think we are still ahead of this range given there are more combos of AJ than JJ.

River would be an odd way to play AJ - I think a check behind is far more likely. So we are left with JJ, bluff and nasty BD flush hitting (although, on secind thoughts he'd never mr turn if he's picked up a FD).

Oooof. This looks like a horribly played set of Jacks. I fold.

...............

lol that analysis could be toxically bad, so beware. Also, I can't think of a different line.

This hand is so badly misplayed in the early stages, that it's really hard to make a clear analysis. I might 4-bet this pf. I always cbet the flop.

Now, as played, what do we do. TT+ and AJ are the most likely holdings given this action. AJ+ KK+ doesn't check this flop. TT doesn't raise turn. So it looks like JJ to me. But i may be waay off. This spot is just too awkward.

On the turn I am way too lost to be confidently shoving it. I can only call in the hope of him checking the river behind. So as played, i just weakly fold turn and move on to the next hand.

I'd really like to hear some other opinions.

What should my 4betting range UTG be like? AA to JJ? TT and AKs as well?

Personally, I dont mind the flat call of his 3 bet preflop, but I like to see more flops so that could just be me.

If you do just call, I think you have to lead out at the pot here. Absent any stats, Id put a normal NL 50 player's 3 bet range as JJ+ and AQ+. A 2/3 PSB should be ok, and then fold to a reraise. I dont think he's going to reraise your hand with something that you beat. If you just check here you really have no clue where you're at.

As played, I think he's probably got a set of jacks. He'd probably bet AJ on the flop, as well as KK and AA.

So either 4betting or flatcalling is alright? How do I react to flop call and a turn raise? Or a raise of my 2/3 potsize contibet on the flop?
