Default top and bottom

foxwoods 20/40

villain in this hand is one of those middle aged guys that is too tight and too passive but probably wins money in these games.

fish limps in EP, I raise A2s in MP, villain 3-bets, the blinds and fish fold, I call.

I c/r a AJ2r flop and he calls

I bet a Q turn and get raised.

fold? call turn fold river? call down?

When I'm playing well I fold. My assumptions are villan doesn't know what a FSD is and won't raise the turn with one pair. Obv if your assumptions are different then you should act accordingly.

I think you're cooked, and drawing dead. Given that you only beat AK right now, I'm folding this hand and not really second guessing myself too much.

A2 is no different than A9 here.. i wouldn't be ecstatic either if a 2 or an A came...

PF is very iffy for me and i'm not tight by any stretch of the imagination...

sure they are. one beats AK, the other doesn't. turn's probably close, but fold might be best. If i'm calling turn, i'm calling river though.

Tight passive old guys 3-bet QQ/JJ/AA much more than AK/AQ they also like to lay off the gas till the turn. You're through. show a 2 and say is this good?

Isn't qj or A10 more than a possibility here? Guy was in early posiiton and didn't raise seems like that eliminates AK/AA-JJ. Remeber he got c/r on the flop so I think we dont have to put him on a monster yet. So I think it is an easy call down and i might raise on the turn if I was playing with this guy and could zero in with my read.

I may be reading it wrong, but it says "villain 3 bet". We're not against a limper here.

the only thing that matters here is AK. if he's unlikely to 3bet pf or raise the turn with AK, it's an easy fold. if he always plays AK this way it's an easy call down. I can think of a few guys in this game matching your description where I'd feel the need to call down, but against most it's a fold.
