16 AKo reraised lvl 3
villain's stats were 30/7 but only 14 hands, so i didn't give them much weight. afterwards tho, i felt pretty bad about my fold.

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
For your raise pf you should make it 200 here, no reason to make the pot bigger incase you have to c-bet. I think I usually shove over the top here, any reads as to why he raised here instead of shoving?

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
I play mostly $16 and $27 sngs, and i'm not sure what level you're playing at. At the $16 and $27, i fold this. I don't see many people getting all in early with AQ or worst.
What does 30/7 mean? |

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
That's really tough...I think w/o reads, I would fold, but if you feel like he's got a pretty wide range then I'd shove over the top.

I think the only reason for not getting it in here is if you have some sort of read based on villain raising instead of shoving. |

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
Am I playing way too tight? I fold AK to a reraise like this at early levels. Is this a leak?
I don't have poker tracker so I can't see people's stats. Should I be pushing the generic $16 people all in in this situation? Do you find yourself getting all in frequently with AK in the early levels? |

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
I don't know that I'm necessarily playing these spots perfectly, but at 25/50 if I put in a large raise (due to limpers) I'm not laying down the hand without special circumstances like a bunch of all-ins. Sometimes you can get away from the hand without taking a big hit to your stack, therefore you can find better spots later on instead of a possible flip early, but I'm not losing a large portion of my stack by folding when I'm holding AK.

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
i fold ak to these situations pretty standardly, because i feel like people generally raise here with ak or a pocket pair, and i hate racing this early, and it seems like the amount of times villain has aq or worse is too little to be worth it

Re: 16 AKo reraised lvl 3
raise to 200 the first time. stop and go is much better than shoving here. the messed up raise bothers me though which inclines me to think he's huge making me want to fold.
