Brag: Saw first live triple play today
Unassisted triple play, only 13th time in MLB history -- Tulowitzki turned it against the Braves. Badass.
Beat: Coors Field stops selling beer after 7th inning, and game went 11 innings. Variance: Matt Holliday walk off home run. |

Wow. Why the hate? Only fifth time that has happened since 1927. Pretty big deal IMO.

Double steal line drive to second...or something like that? [/ QUOTE ] No, runners on 1st and 2nd, full count, runners going on the pitch...sharply hit liner to Tulowitzki, who (I think) was moving towards 2nd...snagged it, stepped on the bag, and tagged the runner who'd been on first. It was Chipper Jones who hit into it. Braves walked 13 batters today - NONE intentionally. The game shouldn't have been close at all, but Holliday left like 8-9 men on base the first four times he was up. |
