Default KK OOP, A falls on the turn

No stats on this guy, this was the very first hand i played at this table.

UTG folds, MP raises to $0.85, CO calls $0.85, BTN folds, SB folds, Hero raises to $3, MP folds, CO calls $2.15

Flop: ($6.95) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $5, CO calls $5

Turn: ($16.95) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero...

Ok, so the pot is $17, and i have about $17 behind.

Ace just hit, and flush just hit...but i do have the nut flush draw.

What's the move here?

And i know the (raise more on this street) comments are coming, but i try to always raise the same amounts, and even if i raise more, i'm even more pot commited, so...

Still interested in turn play, As Played up to the turn.

bet out about 1/3 amount of the pot and see where you are at, some reason im putting him on mid pair. i think you are still good bud.

i'll take a stab:

1) you could check hoping he checks behind and to control the pot. if a psb comes i think this becomes a clear fold. so seems like a decent option oop against an ugly board for kk, nut flush draw aside.

2) you could lead with a strong bet. psb your all in, and anything greater than half pot you seem to be committed. nine outs to the flush, 2 more kings which might be good. you're probably only getting called by hands that are beating you though, so you're probably only around 23% to win this if called.

3) you could lead as a block bet for 5-7ish and fold to any raise.

I bet about $8, and he put me all in, which that's when i noticed i had pot commited myself with that bet.

I called because it was good odds with 11 outs, and would you believe he tabled A6o and took it down.

That's right, a $3 preflop with A6o, a $5 with mid pair, and the turn was good to him.

He was running pretty hot. He sucked out on a few other people over the session and then I had to log off.

Friends list got one bigger though.

i like to bet the pot on the flop.

it compounds villain's error by calling (flush draw or AQ or in this case, donkey call) and gives him much lower implied odds.

as played u will probably want to check and call a reasonable bet by villain that allows u to draw to the flush. if not i would rather check/fold because there is very little that u beat

Make it bigger on the flop and shove the turn, even if you're behind you have a few outs at least.

Take a note, blame variance, and buddylist this guy. nh

ugh....... a Check here could induce a bet that you have to fold?..... but any reasonable bet is gonna leave you committed.

I am probably gonna bet $8 and hope he folds now

definatly follow around this guy, honestly i dont really see how that ace helps his hand. Nor should he have a flush draw here. but i guess some guys just get stubborn when u reraise them. I'd probly do the same out of confusion, bet 8 and call my last 8 because of the flush draw.
