Default Call this turn check-raise?

I was check raised on the turn, whilst semi-bluffing hoping to hit a spade. I only really want comments about the turn and I was wondering what you guys would do? Check the turn through? And once i've been check-raised how often do you think a 10nl player (no reads) is doing that without a house?
