Default College Indecision: NYU v. Notre Dame

I cant decide! I'm looking at Finance/Econ as probable majors.

Both are top 10 business schools, so no real problem education-wise.

For me, Notre Dame is about half as expensive as NYU (30K vs. 17K). NYU put me into the Stern Scholar's program. Money isn't a HUGE issue, but its definitely one of the things to consider for me/my family.

Notre Dame has a lot less work/interhsip opportunities than NYU, but makes up for that somewhat with the alumni network.

I hope to work in a sports-related field after graduation, so NY has the professional sports teams and ND has the college sports teams.

Notre Dame has a campus.

NYU has a lot more to do.

Notre Dame is Catholic (+ and a -). Lack of diversity but people are a hell of a lot nicer.

Harder to succeed at NYU with a harsh curve and very competitive classmates.

Same-sex dorms/curfews/etc. at ND but partying very expensive at NYU.
Etc.

Your thoughts?

you will get a more typical college experience at ND, but NYU is a much much cooler area to live

I heard ND was boring, and NYU is a good Bus. school and has lots of connections. Plus, going to school in the financial capital of the world is great for future jobs/internships.

Go to the school whose campus/atmosphere you like the most. With comparable programs at both schools, the name on your degree doesn't really matter.

Pick a school where you feel you will fit into the most and enjoy living everyday, not one where you think has the "best" academic program, etc.

ND is WAAAAAYYYYYYYY overrated in my book and I don't know too much about NYU.

Base your decision on who has the better football team. Clearly NYU.

These schools are so different that only you can really figure out which one suits you better. Most of the opinions you will get here will be useless, as you need to determine which school is a better fit for you.
