Default Brady Quinn: past and present NFL comps

Give me some NFL QB's, past and/or present, whose careers you think best compare to what we can expect Brady Quinn's NFL career to look like when all is said and done.

Also, please lay them out in a downside, expected value, and upside tiered format.

Thanks

I assume this is a joke (and i'm not an ND fan).

I see it as more like:

upside: Matt Hasselbeck
expected: Eli Manning, Jake Plummer
downside: John Kitna, Neil O'Donnell

Hasselbeck seems like a good upside comparison, I think he'll end up as a middle of the road starter, say Jake Delhomme.

For Russell, sure.

Neil O'Donnell is the 2nd best QB on this list.

That's not a joke. Brady Quinn both sucks and blows. Also, almost no one's downside could possibly be as good as Kitna and O'Donnell.

[/ QUOTE ]you're way underranking both his upside and downside imo. Really you just listed a bunch of middle guys.

I keep thinking he really looks like a slightly taller Rick Mirer.

Yeah, I have to agree with this. If your downside is Jon Kitna, then you should be the consensus #1 draft pick.
