This hand happened at a local game, 2/5$ NL. UTG is LAG and a decent player with about 600$. UTG+1 is a TAG and a very good player imo, he has about 500$. im in mp with 410$. heres how it went down:
UTG raises to 20$ UTG+1 calls i make it 70$ to go with AA folds around to UTG, who calls, and UTG+1, who calls. flop is Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG checks UTG+1 opens for 80$. (pot is 295, my stack is 340) Heres the dilemma. do i push? i dont like a flat call here. what line do you guys like from this point? i dont know how i feel about a push here either though - i feel like he knew i had a big hand, and i dont think he would have led out at me with just AQ,KQ. and i hate going broke on 'just a pair'. thoughts? ...first thread/post! (not a n00b though) |

i ended up folding it. the UTG raiser folded too. utg+1 flips Jc10c, and asks why no one could have hit the flop.
but say i called. if the turn is a blank and he pushes, you would have to fold it, right? what do i beat that hed push with? and hypothetically, if i were the UTG+1 guy and had a Q (10-Q, KQ , AQ, etc), is it the right move to bet out into the reraiser? |

Wait more than an hour before posting results.
Seriously, in B&M, make that pf raise bigger. It will help you avoid this kind of spot. [/ QUOTE ] This has nothing to do with whether or not you should call on the flop. |

Call flop and never fold the turn. If he check turn I'd check behind, if he check river push it.
WAWB, mostly WA though. |
