Re: 100 NL KK weak?
I payoff here, not only cause you could easily have the best hand, but that you want to see waht he is betting out with on the flop, then checking the turn, then making a sizeable bet (to the size of the pot) on the river. It will help you maximize your wins and control your losses vs him in position IMO.

Re: 100 NL KK weak?
I think I like the fold, it must be some kind of weird Ax hand that for some reason suddenly decides on river that his hand is good. Although the 22$ in an 28$ pot is a bit odd for a potsize bet.

Re: 100 NL KK weak?
I would fold. His line screams Ax. Hes obviously not bluffing a missed draw or anything.

Re: 100 NL KK weak?
Fold.
You're not beating anything he's valuebetting the river with, and I don't think air makes up much of his range. |

Re: 100 NL KK weak?
I'd think about making a smallish (1/2 pot) bet on the turn, then checking behind on river (or folding if he still wants to bet then). His line does look a lot like Ax, but it also looks like he's maybe hoping to push you off TT-KK.

Re: 100 NL KK weak?
I agree with cue-ball that if you want a slightly cheaper showdown you could bet the turn.

[ QUOTE ]
I agree with cue-ball that if you want a slightly cheaper showdown you could bet the turn. [/ QUOTE ] Agree, though folding the flop against the average NL$100 donk isn't bad either. These guys all put hero on "AK" so the flop lead is a hand that most likely wants a call. Villain missed his turn stack-a-donk (CR AI) and went for value on the river with his set or 2-pair. |
