New to Omaha....wondering if this is +ev long term
Ran it through 2 dimes and it says I am 28% in this hand vs other two hands.
I've had other players do this to me and win with hands like this. Thought I'd give it a try. Ultimate Bet Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.25./$0.50. 5 players Converter Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with :td :9c :8h :jh UTG calls, [color=#cc0000]CO raises to $2.25</font>, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls, [color=#cc0000]UTG raises to $11.75</font>, CO calls, [color=#cc0000]Hero raises all-in $47.25</font>, BB folds, [color=#cc0000]UTG raises to $167</font>, [color=#cc0000]CO calls all-in $102.9</font>, [color=#cc0000]Hero calls all-in $49.5</font>. Uncalled bets: $52.35 returned to UTG. Flop: :4d :9s :6s ($233.8, 0 player + 3 all-in - Main pot: $292.5) Turn: :6s ($233.8, 0 player + 3 all-in - Main pot: $292.5) River: :ts ($233.8, 0 player + 3 all-in - Main pot: $292.5) Results: Final pot: $233.8 I figure I might get lambasted for this play, but I thought I'd try it out and see how it worked for the possibilibility vs 2 other full buy ins. First time I'm using the converter.
If I am doing something wrong, can someone please let me know how to get the hand to show up properly. Thanks. Cracka |

Re: New to Omaha....wondering if this is +ev long term
Keep getting this error on neildewhurst when I put in 2+2 in the output format.
I’m sorry, but The hand history you are using is not supported. Please leave a comment with the hand history you would like to convert, and I will include it in the list of supported sites. CL |

Re: New to Omaha....wondering if this is +ev long term
I apologize, but I get a limit holdem hand when I post my plo hh in the converter.
I believe something is screwy with the hh's from ub as they made some changes in their software. I will post directly from my plotracker if it is ok with the mods?? CL |

Re: New to Omaha....wondering if this is +ev long term
Ok, now that it looks all pretty, what we've got here is a basic application of what was sort of discussed in this thread: here.
I think this is a little bit of a thin call, but it's not terrible. If your hand was double suited or could make a straight without an ace (seeing as how someone will probably have AAxx here and needing the A for broadway is yuck), I think it'd be 100% standard. However, making plays like these is really embracing the variance of Omaha as opposed to the more interesting postflop play. I don't think it's terrible, but it's not profitable in the long run in my opinion. |

Re: New to Omaha....wondering if this is +ev long term
Considering the thoughts in this thread, I have a hypothetical.
Assume relative stacks are 100. Say you have something like AAKJ. No reads on opponents. You open to 3.5 in MP, CO pots to 12, SB pots to 29, easy fold? |
