Default The problem with OOT as I see it...No solution offered

I was making a post in the now deleted thread and felt what I had to say was important enough.

The true downfall of oot was not moderation or duplication of posts over time. One downfall was it was so good that the community expanded too fast and you couldnt recognize everyone. And the biggest factor was the separation of sports, politics, etc. What the hell is left to talk about? Basically nothing but movies and penal farts. I understand why the move happened because once a year for each sport, and once every 4 years for politics the forum would be flooded for those who had no interest in those events, and were too lazy to sift through it.

That makes sense why it said I didnt have access to the forum when I tried to post. Too bad I didnt find a temporary back door, so I could enjoy in the good times.

If it helps, my vote was for you to stay. I wont go into why so we dont start debate here which is obviously not wanted by the mods who wanted it moved.

Do Dynasty, are you saying you would be willing to abide by a vote of the majority of mods voting as to who goes as mod here?

I think the problem with OOT is that a lot of people spend more time worrying about lame moderation issues and overall complaining about OOT, rather than creating threads with interesting content themselves.
