I cannot figure out why villian berated you. he won on an 8 outer. The villian played the flop like he was on a flush draw. You made a reasonable move against a person you though was on a draw.

You don't need any help here. You just need to play this hand exactly the same way 100 times, and you'll come out a big winner.

This is so standard in PLO. Just keep getting it in way ahead and eventually the money will start to come your way. I find PLO to be very swingy at times because of this; people constantly pushing on draws/sets against obvious flushes. I've had my biggest downswings and upswings in terms of buy-ins at PLO.
