tracking the pot in PLO

When tracking how big the pot is, is rounding up a common/acceptable practice?
How much "error" is acceptable? Does rounding begin preflop, or only later when the pot is big?

I have a small game where we play with two $0.10 blinds. What kind of round off system do you think is acceptable?
