Default Indoor practice putting greens?

Does anyone have a good indoor practice putting green that they could recommend? I really could use something to practice with at home, but most of the mats I see at the local golf shops seem pretty shoddy.

I am actually thinking about getting an artificial backyard putting green, but after checking prices (my first quote came back at about $7,500), I'm going to have to wait a bit on that.

When I was like 12 my mom bought me a cheep putting green with the fancy ball returner at Big Lots (Clearance warehouse with crappy stuff for cheep) and I still suck at putting, so I dont recommend this.

your best set is the artificial outdoor one, if you cant afford, I dont know of anyone that makes anything other than the indoor strip carpet. If you are not willing to use this, goto some place like Home Depot, and pick out an indoor/outdoor carpet(like mini golf turf) and have a strip cut, put it in your garage and practice there, the lower the height, the better. If your serious about it, the artifical ones are very good quality for simulating greens roll and you can even chip to them too.
