Default Amazon Music Download Bet at Bodog

Will Amazon offer music downloads by May 15th. Yes +125, no -165

I took the no for $82.5 to win $50. I wish I could bet a hell of a lot more.

Reasons for Yes:
1) Rumors that they will launch in May

Reasons for No:
1) It is only 3 weeks away
2) I could find no definitive statement that the record companies have agreed to remove the copyright protection
3) To but such an operation in place there would be a lot more buzz since marketing, the record companies, technology, etc. would have to be involved. ie, it would be known for a fact that it was happening if it was happening in 3 weeks. What, is Amazon going to launch without a marketing campaign?
4) No definitive statement from Amazon that they are even in this business.

I place the NO at 80% minimum and it may be closer to 99%. So, at -165 there is huge value.

disclaimer - since I could only bet $82.5 max I only spent about 20 minutes on this. Therefore, I could be missing something.

I bet the no on this earlier at -120, wasn't confident enough to post about it though. I like your reasons. I think it is just very unlikely for them to unveil a download service on such a short time frame without much more hype and official press releases.
