Unless you think he's an uber donk and/or is calling down with craptastic hands, I think a c/c is miles ahead of betting again.

If you bet again, his floats (which are probably drawing damn near dead) probably just drop. You never fold a better hand, and most players aren't gonna call you down with KT or worse very often.

If he has you beat, he'll often raise and blow you out of the pot or force you to make a bad call.

If there is a black 2 how often are we check/calling or check/folding then On the river? There is the chance he was floating and stabbing at the river or missed a draw and we are getting pushed off the best hand.

Is that the perfect time for a 1/2 pot blocking bet?

I would check-call the river. What are you looking to get value from by betting? A 7 isn't calling and a king would bet it anyway. Check-calling allows us to lose the minimum to sets/straight and it also induces bluffs from a whiffed draw.
