Reraise a little more, like to $12-14. I like calling the 4bet in position.
He has an overpair and doesn't want to have to make a decision if an 8, T, or club comes. I don't think QQ is making that small of a 4bet pf oop. He's milking you with AA, possibly KK. Reads would help, BTW. |

PF I reraise to 13-15 instead of 10.
I think I have to call the push, but it's pretty close. 1.5:1 with a pretty much even shot at either 9 (AA - 37%) or 12 (KK - 47%) outs is good enough for me. Anytime it's close like that, I go ahead and make the call because it's relatively equal EV either way, but showing down the hand can help your table image. |

3bet to $12.
I think you call the shove, yes, it's kind of hard to think of a hand range that has you so crushed you cannot call ({AA,JJ} comes to mind, but that's just unrealistic). equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 42.576% 42.12% 00.45% 2502 27.00 { AcKc } Hand 1: 57.424% 56.97% 00.45% 3384 27.00 { KK+ } equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 57.788% 38.67% 19.12% 5742 2839.50 { AcKc } Hand 1: 42.212% 23.09% 19.12% 3429 2839.50 { KK+, AKs, AKo } equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 52.449% 40.44% 12.01% 9609 2853.00 { AcKc } Hand 1: 47.551% 35.54% 12.01% 8445 2853.00 { JJ+, AKs, AKo } |

Definitely make it 13 or 14$ pf then go ahead and call the flop also. As the others have said your ev here is pretty close either way.

i called. he showed qq, i didnt hit and i lost. correct call? [/ QUOTE ] Try not to think through it like this. Just because a guy that made this play had QQ this time does not mean he will always have it. Don't be results oriented; instead, put him on a range of hands and decide if you are ahead of that range. |
