25NL QQQ An obvious fold ...
Good session, up 4 buy-ins,so I decide this will be the last orbit and on the last hand of the last table to close, my reads and discipline were tested ...

Outcome: SB wins $49.35. </font> Villain has been tight, aggressive and solid for the last hour. I am confident that my reads, even 8 tabling, are good. His reraise PF is QQ+,AK. Flop call could be any hand in his range,he knows I can make that size bet with nothing. I bet small on the turn because I was worried about KK and I think I can get away if he raises. His call tells me he has AA or KK. He can fold AK here. River bet is then either AA or KK, he has me on AK (unlikely), QQ, AA at this point. OK, huge confidence in my reads both of him and his view of me; SO WHY CAN'T I BLOODY FOLD? What would you have done? Can I define his hand earlier and get away, if so, how? One element of excuse ... I had less than a full buy-in here, which definitely influenced my river shove. Villain was Artsemis btw, nh |

I play this for stacks. You gotta be hella-deep to get away from this.

I play this for stacks. You have the second nuts and should never ever even consider getting away from this. [/ QUOTE ] |
