Default Should i buy bond issues?

Well, im 18 years old, single and i am still going to school.
The situation is like this:
i got about 50k $ in stocks and about 10k on the bank account.

Now i was thinking of buying bond issues, because i dont like it if all my money is only in stocks.
What do u think about it, which ones are safe?

You're too young to be investing in such passive assets. If you want some extra security, put some cash in a money market fund where you'll earn some interest and have ready access to the money.

The safer the bond, the less interest you'll make In the long run you'll make more in stocks. If you're heavily invested in just a few stocks, you might want to sell them and put some money in a low cost index fund.

With this relatively small amount to invest, buying a bond fund would be a a lot better than buying individual issues.

You should consider these:

I don't think his age is as relevant as his risk tolerance as he sounds risk averse. Maybe bonds will be more suitable than sticks for him.

I don't think you can.

EU investors can invest in ishares ETF in Euros though. They also have bond ETF.

You can also buy British Investment Trusts listed on the London Stock Exchange that invest in pretty much whatever you want.
