4/8 limit Omaha hi kill game. I'm dealt an ugly 257J in the BB, everyone limps, laggy LP player raises, everyone calls. Miracle flop of 346r. I lead, 5 or 6 people call (forget). Turn 5, I lead, 3 people call. River 6, SB who had been playing very straight forward came out firing. I don't even think about it much and muck... other 2 people muck as well. Guy flashes me A223 for a wheel and I puke inside.

Looking back I was getting spectacular odds to call, but considering how nitty the game had been playing it never would've crossed my mind that NOBODY filled up... and I still can't believe SB decided to lead the river for whatever reason, but it worked like a charm and decimated my buyin. So does anyone call this with two other people left to act just because of the large pot size?

In theory it's a muck every time.

In practice I am a total calling station on the river in limit games and will rarely fold anything worthwhile getting > 10:1.

Folding preflop is still the way to go. it was raised after all. This hand is going to be check/folding lots of flops and reverse implied odds on the ones it does hit, no?

Depends on how well you play the river and whether or not villains pay off if you flop quads.
