Comfortable and Furious
The other day my girlfriend was complaining about how dirty my floors were. I just told her that mopping was such a pain. She suggested that I get a Swiffer because mopping was so 90's. So I go to Wal-Mart, and they did not have the regular swiffer but the new larger Swiffer Max. I thought that sounded good so I purchased it. Because it only came with 2 dry pads and 2 wet pads, I bought a box the refills for each. None of the refills on the shelves were specifically labeled "Swiffer Max", but i figured they must be the right ones because they only sold one size Swiffer and one size of refill pads. When i got home I realized the dry pads were not for the Swiffer Max, but for the regular Swiffer and were smaller than the 2 that came with the Swiffer Max. Even more disheartening were that the wet pads were not fit for the Swiffer Max either, but the were the same size as the wet pads that came with the Swiffer Max. So apparently Swiffer does not even make a wet pad that utilizes the full size of the Swiffer Max. Although all the pads fit, all the refills and even the wet pads that came with the Swiffer max only make use of about 60% of the surface of the Swiffer Max. Which makes me wonder why they even sell a Swiffer Max. Bottom Line All Swiffer refill packages should say which Swiffer they are sized for, and should be stocked on the shelves where the Swiffer Max is sold. Also, If Swiffer is going to sell I new product they should not just make dry pads for it, but also the wet pads as well. |

Re: Comfortable and Furious
I'm now the world's second greatest expert on the Swiffer Max and I don't even know what it is.
