Default NL 50 Line Checks - Reversing the Yeti Theorem

Both of these hands involve overpairs on low paired boards. I'm basically trying to represent a bluff based on the theory that no one who b3bs those kinds of boards ever has anything.

Villain is 17/13/4 over a hundred hands; in another session we were threebetting pretty heavy but he just sat here.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($49.50)
BB ($53.70)
UTG ($79.10)
Hero ($74)
Button ($49.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, K.
1 fold</font>, Hero raises to $2</font>, Button calls $2, 2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($4.75) 7, J, 7 (2 players)</font>
Hero bets $4</font>, Button raises to $13</font>, Hero raises to $76 (All-In)</font>, Button calls $34.25 (All-In).

Turn: ($128) T (2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

River: ($128) K (2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $128

Only about thirty hands with this guy; he hasn't done much of anything but is running 30/2/.5; safe to say he's probably passive.

Im not sure that either of these are winning plays per say, but I know that Id play both hands similarly and if I lost not feel too bad about it.

damn maybe that's why I always lose when I go all in on low paired flops with nothing. But yeah, I like both of these hands, they look pretty standard.

I think they both look OK, but then again I suck at folding overpairs. Be careful about trying to play against a theorem when less than 5% of the player pool has heard of that theorem.

I don't have a url but the theorem is this: If anyone ever 3bets on a paired flop, it's a bluff. Tends to be pretty true.

Winning(profitable) plays over the long run. What i was saying is that Im not sure that they are against NL50 opponents, but I think that just about everyone here plays these hands the same.

Hand one, villain has 88. Ship.

Hand two, he had 77. Argh.

I think they're both fine because NL 50 villains are really bad at folding overpairs, just looking for a sanity check. Thanks, guys.
