NL100 River decision with QQ
Villain is 29/8/0.6 over ~100 hands. Generally calls too much with weak pairs and draws.

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
I would lead the river. He'll pay off with too many hands that would check behind.
As played, tough spot... I usually fold to AF of 0.6. |

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
I think check/calling on the turn is fine but if you're going to bet it I'd make it at least 25.

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
i'd bet a bit more on the turn then push river, as played i think you have to fold this looking at his af

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
So basically it would be ok to felt this if I lead out on all 3 streets ?
If the river is a heart, should I c/f or block ? I probably need to work on paying attention at the stats too, I checked river to let missed hearts bluff, but he's probably not the type to do that... The shove kinda confused me. What hand do you put him on there ? |

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
if you've never seen him do this before then you have to fold, you beat heart draws w/ Js in them i guess, but it's unlikely. this is probably a 6 or a set or a straight imo, too much for you to call anyway

The idea is that your hand is good enough that if you're betting and he's calling, you're probably making money, but as soon as he raises, you're no longer good. That's why I would bet bet bet and fold to a raise anywhere (usually... depends though obviously). |

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
I would lead on the river because villain is so passive and he would call with mid pp's.
As played, I think I still call; you bet twice but check on the river so you show weakness. And even if villain didn't bluff there, you still beat JhXh. I think 2 to 1 is good enough. By the way, have you enjoyed the chat with ContinuationFold about how rigged Party is? |

Re: NL100 River decision with QQ
Results for those interrested : he had trip sixes obv.
[ QUOTE ] By the way, have you enjoyed the chat with ContinuationFold about how rigged Party is? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I have a feeling he was levelling though. His SN + stats lead me to believe he's 2p2... |
