about 30 left in the sunday warm-up. Im 2nd in chips with roughly 1 mil. Blinds are 7500/15000 with some ante or other. Ive been at my new table like 2 orbits, in which time ive won about 250k without showdown, mostly from MP in the following hand when i made him fold in a CO v BB pissing contest (he reraised the flop, i called, called the flop and jammed the turn when he checked. I happened to have a hand but its kinda immaterial).

So onto the hand.
UTG jams for 110k. He has jammed once in the two orbits ive been there, and didnt get looked up. MP calls leaving himself like 320k behind. Folds to me in the SB with TT. This is close and annoying right?

I think I fold this deep peoples ranges are shrinking once their chips go in with garunteed showdown.

You have two outs.

Edit: Obviously not every time, but people usually iso here with smaller pairs and big aces if they're playing them with that stack.

Your best case scenario is Ax and 88 or something, but it's way more likely that you're up against 8 or 9 outs even when not dominated.

P.S. I probably would shove in real life. I make better folds on message boards.

I don't care about UTG much, the other guy not feeling the need to reshove when he's putting in 25% of his stack scares me

Whether or not you care, it still factors into MP's flat-calling range.

edit: And BTW, him flat-calling vs. shoving could be either "I have a monster and want an overshove behind me" or "I'm deep in the Million and value survival."

Depends on some kind of read of MP I guess. His flat call instead of iso raising is definitely suspicous. It's possible he's leaving himself room to fold to a push but I think a strong player is pretty likely to have a big pair there a lot. Fold sounds fine.
