Win rate. HU SNG
At the moment I am very annoyed, cus I feel I am running pretty bad at the absolute poker structure. I started out well, winning 45 of 55 matches. But in the last few weeks I have not done that well, and my record for the the last 118 games is: 68-46 (playing 10-20 and 1 50$). Still a decent 60% win rate, and it took 23 hours (2 tabling), but I do not feel like a winner, because I experience too much variance.
My question is now, how high is yours. At Turbo and at regular SNGs |

Re: Win rate. HU SNG
Quit HUSNGs if you're upset about a 60% winrate, it'll only drop as you move up from whatever it truly is.
I don't really have a definitive sample size to add for winrate or ROI, but I would be content 60% the 22s over 500 games on stars. So far I'm above that but I just went back to turbos and only have like 75 matches played. |

Re: Win rate. HU SNG
Yea I bet most people who play HU sngs dont ever get too much above a 60% winrate because this is mostly possible at the 5s-30s the highest Ive ever had was 60.61% at the 33s (and I was 100% the best player at these limits for atleast 200 of these matches) turbos over 400 sngs and the only reason I was still playing the 33s was because I couldnt psychologically handle moving up. If your winrate is truly above 60% you will probably moving up so quickly that you wont get a chance to establish a winrate above 60% at the levels it is possible (5s-20s and 30s if your really good). 50s+ 60% is killing the game and probably running hot although I am speaking about my FTP turbos so you can add a few % if your rocking the PS reg's but Im sure someone can give you the info on that.

Why should I quit HU SNG? IT is the poker type I am best at.

Re: Win rate. HU SNG
If you cant handle a 60% winrate then yes quit, otherwise adapt and youll be fine. Like I said through your HU sngs career 60% is going to be about the best you can possibly expect.

Re: Win rate. HU SNG
The best HU players only sustain somewhere right above a 65% winrate. If you are asking this kind of question you most likely dont fall into that category yet. 60% is pretty solid.
Meh you might be able to beat 65% at the 10's, but any higher than that it will be near impossible to sustain. |

A 65% winrate is about a 30% ROI look on sharkscope, no one is even close to that at the 50s+ 15% ROI is about the best your going to do as a top player IMO. |
