Default Is this a standard push?

Ok, another 40fpp tourney into the saturday 4000fpp tourney for ME seat. 15 left, 6 get to move on, top 13 get fpp back. Sorry no converter since I'm at work.

Hero UTG+1 with 88

one limper from UTG.
Limper has a 40k stack.

Stacks: Hero has about 25,000 and is shortstack at the table. there are 2 100k+ stacks who are basically sitting out as they should be. Other stacks are 30k-60K, and there's a lot of Preflop pushing. Is it standard to push with this pair after a limper? Or should I wait?

sorry, posted in a hurry, blinds are 1000/2000 ante 100, and about to go up probably before I hit, I think 1 min left or so. Limper has folded to other shoves, he doesn't seem to understand some of the preflop play this late in the game.

I really think there's more to consider here before pushing. If there's people on the other table shorter than you, this might not be good. You still have chips left and you're in EP. Your table is effectively 5-6 handed if 2 people are sitting out. With lots of pf pushing and folding, sounds like you can chip up pretty easily without pushing in this spot. I think you can find a fold here pretty often; you aren't short by any means for this few left of a satellite.

I think this is something I'm not used to looking at before I decide to push. In fact I just read something similar to this advice a few days ago. I don't remember if it was on 2+2 or in a book, but it basically said the same thing. Definately something I will continue to monitor in the future while in a sat.
