Re: 100nl: correct push?
A raise of that size from a random (I assume, since you post no reads) at this limit generally means they're not kidding around. Followed by a cold call, and you're probably in trouble somewhere. Even if they're both idiots, you can get your money in better than this.

Re: 100nl: correct push?
At best you're chopping with the BB, and the Button could easily have one of your outs (at least), you cannot be faulted for folding here.

Re: 100nl: correct push?
Cold-calling 20BB (19) worries me. I wouldn't push... call and see the flop. If you flop big you can get more in later. If not, because of player all-in you'll likely have an easier time getting cards free/cheap, since a "successful" bluff in this situation still has to beat the button. I find players generally not betting w/o hitting here on flop after calling.

[/ QUOTE ] If you are chopping with BB and button folds, that's like free money. And by the way, BB's range is ginormous. Dude's an obvious idiot who has $16 on an NL100 table and you want to give him credit for having 22+? WTF? He has a random Ace or KQ or JTs or some other [censored] a huge percentage of the time. I play this the same. |
