I hope this one isn\'t obvious
This is like my 3rd hand at the table, so no reads sry.
My question is: Is this a more or less standard fold on the flop against an unknown? PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (9 handed) (Format: FlopTurnRiver) Preflop: Hero is Button with K, K. UTG calls, 1 fold</font>, MP1 calls, 2 folds</font>, CO raises</font>, Hero 3-bets</font>, 2 folds</font>, UTG folds, MP1 calls, CO calls. Flop: (11.50 SB) 6, Q, Q (3 players)</font> MP1 checks, CO checks, Hero bets</font>, MP1 calls, CO raises</font>, Hero..... |

Re: I hope this one isn\'t obvious
3bet, call a cap and call down.
If there's no flop cap lead the turn and call down to a raise. |

Re: I hope this one isn\'t obvious
Vs an unknown I might throw in a reraise, especially if he's just calling the 3jack preflop. At these limits he could have A6 as easily as Qx here. If he slows down following the reraise I think you can take control of the hand. A cap, a call->donk, or another c/r on the turn is probably a good signal to dump it.
Obviously you want to see a K and you hate any A or Q. |

Re: I hope this one isn\'t obvious
CO can have 6x, 77-JJ, or even AK.
Im not planning to fold for 1 bet on the turn/river. |

Re: I hope this one isn\'t obvious
If you 3-bet, you can't fold to a cap, since you are getting implied odds to spike a boat. The board isn't drawy, so you don't mind MP1 staying in on the flop, so call here and raise the turn. If MP1 wakes up, then I can dump it on the turn. If CO bet/reraises, then we are probably beaten and can fold the turn, or raise/call and fold the river.

I don't like CO to have 77, or 88 because the average .1/.2 player usually limps those hands looking for the sets. I think A6, 99-JJ, Qx(x=T thru A), maybe KJ and AK are in the range. Clearly we're worried about the Q so in the absence of reads are we going WA/WB on the turn if we still get action? Also, what are our scare cards? I'd say the flop limpers are 90% chasing with some Ace-based garbage. |

Re: I hope this one isn\'t obvious
You know what I love about these forums? Objective input. This seemed like a pretty easy muck to me. But I might be wrong in thinking that. I just do not see anything but a Q pulling this sort of move when there's a CC'er trapped in the middle. Thanks for the input everyone.
[ QUOTE ] Obviously you want to see a K and you hate any A or Q. [/ QUOTE ] I actually kind of like a Q. |

Call. Difficult without reads. Unlikely villain has a queen.
