I'm making this 2.75 preflop. Why the turn check? I might check the turn against certain opponents trying to CRAI, but clearly this is not what you were going for. You still have lots of equity on the turn against anything reasonable for him to have, so I'd be looking to commit a lot on this street. As played, river is pretty meh. I'm probably finding a fold too, but I don't think calling here is that bad against a 66.67/18.75/3.

I like trying to get all my money in on the turn. I'm contemplating if an open-push, or a turn CR is the best way to do it. I believe it really depends on how you play a lot of other hands AQ, KQ, set, straight etc.

Given the opponent though, I would be more inclined to lean towards CR.

Tough hand. One problem you have, I think, is that this board (on the turn) hits what is likely a good chunk of this Villain's min-raising preflop range.

All the same, I think I'd grit my teeth and call the river. This guy is shaping up to be a big LAG so far at the table, and you're getting about 5:2 with your overpair.

I raise the turn AI. You have 16 outs against 2 pair and 10 against a set, not to mention the hands you're ahead of AQ, KQ etc.

I'm probably CRAI this turn as played, though I lead the turn here against this guy. I think you have to pay particularly close attention to showdown stats with with these types of villains. They'll tip you off as to wether villain has simply had a really good run of cards and is not as laggy as you think he is, or if he is skilled. It's still likely your hand is good nevertheless. You have the OESD on the turn so shoving is decent, and you can still get called by AQ.
