Default Is this HSBC email legit?

I got this email from HSBC. I am 99% sure that it's real but you can't be too safe these days.

But what the hell does it want me to do? I opened up a HSBC account back in Feb to take advantage of their 6% offer. After I opened the account, I linked up and transfered money from my WAMU account to my HSBC account. I don't plan to withdraw till after April 30th, which is the end of the 6% promotion. What do they want me to do to make my WAMU link active?

i don't like it.

doesn't seem to be the right address...hsbcusa.com seems to be the american site i found when i went directly to the hsbc website.

furthermore, when i clicked the link to the chinese webpages, it looks like it's just a set of images, not actual text or what not...

just seems kinda wrong to me...give them a ring.

www.us.hsbc.com is correct. I don't know anything about the e-mail but that's how I access my account and that's what comes up with you google hsbc us. If this somehow isn't the correct address please pm me as I have major issues.

The address pasted isn't concerning but clicking the link from the email is whats problematic since you can make addresses look different than they actually are.

I have been doing HSBC for several months now. And the web address you gave does not look familiar at all.

Doesn't mean it cannot be legit. But it's not the one I use. I am in the USA. In California.
