true story:

I was at this party a few years back just chilling in the corner, blending in with my surroundings and secretly staring at chicks. I looked over at the other side of the room and saw this remotely attractive chick who wasn't fat, but a little "thicker."

So I'm in the corner trying to think of a game plan and I just think back to some wisdom that I have learned over the years:

- be honest
- compliment girl on something that is good about her.

So I went up to here and it went something like this:

Me: Hey there
Her: hello
Me: I was watching you from across the room and I noticed you... you know you're quite thick

***Ok, you always hear about guys on here liking some meat on their bones and not twigs. So this has to be a compliment right? Surely she knows she's isn't stick thin.

Her: WHAT THE [censored]?? YOU [censored]!
Me: What?!?! I didn't say fat! I said Thick!

so she goes on a tirade some more and I didn't get the girl. What did I do wrong?
