Default AQo b/f river w/ TP? PS 100NL

Villain is 19/15/2.4 with ~150 hands
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($192.90)
MP ($73.70)
CO ($36.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $3.

Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($8.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $6</font>, Button calls $6.

River: ($20.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $14</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $88.8</font>

I thought no reason to lead into the PFR with the A on the flop... If I 3bet him pre I go broke, right?

Despite results, you should have 3-bet him PF to take control of the hand. Then bet turn, river, etc.

How things panned out I think you can easily fold the river. You are beat.

I reraise him pf and hope to take it down there or on the flop. I don't think you have to go broke 100% of the time if you 3-bet him. Flop check is fine.

As played, fold to the river push. I can't imagine him pushing with anything less than two pair.

Are we only 3-betting preflop because it is a button raise?

I usually RR pf, most 19/15s have a wide range OTB. As played, river is a fold.
