beat: my ride was broken into

So I owe my buddy some money and decide to cut him a check after work on tuesday night. We hand out, start dranking a bit and lose track of time.

I head out to my car @ 2am to get the checkbook that is in my CD binder underneath the passenger seat. I grabbed the check book// wrote the check// drank 1 more brew// and left at 2.30 am. I go to my car and see that the passenger side window of my car is all over my passenger seat and my once robust collection of CD's is reduced to the 1 that was in the cd player// i estimate that 100-115 cds are gone!!

I had about:
20 floyd cds
20 live phish shows
15-20 live umphrey's mcgee shows
a good collection of jazz
a ton of hip hop// jay z// mf doom// lots and lots of wu tang
electronica(just beginning that collection)
vintage hard to find live zeppelin

I hate this so MUCH!!!

if they struck an hour earlier they would have got my checkbook//
have many friends w/ very robust collections of music who will help me out

beats:

spent my day off and my monthly bonus check on getting my window delivered and installed

variance:

It would have been worth the price of the window to catch the douchebagthat did it

If you don't want this to happen, you only have burned cd's, leaving your originals at home. Friend of mine has had over 2,500 cds stolen before.
