Default Tonights Hockey Games

Brag: You know I'm right.
Beat: You know I'm right.
Variance: Maybe you don't even like hockey.

Okay. So Obv the Wings and Vancouver are going to win tonight. (Barring any fluke goal-type scenarios)

But what about the other games?

The Ducks have got to be HUGE favorites to beat The Wild. They lead the series 3 to 1. And the Ducks are at Home too. The Wild did just win the last game though. Score was 4 to 1. I'm saying the Wild should win this game once out of 8 times.

I expect the Senators will also coast through their game against the Penguins as well. They lead the series 3 to 1 as well. On paper these teams are pretty evenly matched. During the regular season Pittsburgh beat Ottawa 3 games to 1. This is why I picked the Penguins to win this series, but, obviously I had incorrectly factored the goalies for either team. Fleury has not been so good so far and Emery has been more than good. Unfortunately, while hockey is a team sport it seems that the fate of this series lies with a single man.

Oh well. Good luck Pittsburgh and Minnesota, you're definately going to need it.

I can't stand when people who know nothing about hockey pick a team that should probably lose and that team ends up winning and they're like "You picked such-and-such-team? That was dumb." I want very much to punch these people, but, instead I just say thank you for the dead money.

Wings win tonight and then again at home on Saturday to clinch the series. Great success!

There is probably a 15% bias toward the Wings but I still believe they will win. Flames won their little home game and that's all they're gunna get. Our record against them in regular season was 2 to 2. But now we have our full team healthy.... We will see.

I'm cheering for Pittsburgh. Not sure if they can pull it off with 13 playoff noobs, but I'm hoping for them.

Dallas stood no chance. You shoulda asked me before the series started and I could have told you then so you could prepare for what was coming.

Turco is a, dare I say it, Great goalie, however, the fire power that San Jose has is pretty much enough to take down any superstar goalie. And yeah, sure, we all want to see Mike Modano do well, but, in reality it was no contest.

I knew that dallas was going to lose. Its just that i like dallas from back in the day, and turco is so agressive.
