So you're getting like 3:1 and closing the action. The best case is that one of your cards is live. The worst is that you're up against AK and JJ, or some similar double-domination situation. I don't like it. It's going to suck even if their ranges are pretty wide.

I like this call. a lone ace against two nice PP for 1/5 your stack and you still have lots of ammo for later.

Why isn't the pot $1462.5?
I can see this depending on the villians quite a bit. I think it has more potential for going bad than good, but if you can see UTG pushing almost any two there, which isn't that rare, and seat 7 not being tight, then you might not be much worse than 2 to 1 here and it's a call. |

Both seat 2 and 7 were tight. Both had lost healthy chunks a bit earlier to a random beat (2 different hands). Seat 1 had been somewhat of a LAG, but not overly so.

Seat 2 and seat 7 both absolutely make the right play. Seat 1 is borderline, but I'm not sure they can lay it down given the pot odds and the non-zero chance that the Ace is best and/or live. I think it's probably weak, but it's not terrible. Give seat 7 one or two more blinds and this is an autofold.

What slim said.
There are way too many hand combos that have you drawing to 2pair to win the hand. Namely Ax and any PP higher than 55. |
