Villain is a 60/20 donk. I don't have any history with him or anything, so I don't know how light he might call me down. I highly doubt he has a K.

I knew it was going to sound stupid "3barrel a donk", but I think he has to fold such a large part of his range. Whether he knows that or not is another question.

[/ QUOTE ] the bolded above is the only reason i strongly oppose a river bet. If you know he's a donkey that'll fold real marginal spots (such as if he held A10) then a bet is okay. But i know for a fact i've seen several donkies c/c multiple streets(even the river) with trips in this spot. triple barreling without reads is generally a spew in my book, particularly when the villian is our mark. |

In general I dont double barrel 60/20 types.
In hand posted I might cbet flop or check flop and put in delayed cbet on turn. Its about feel and what you think he's most likely to think you'd do with your AK/KQ. As played, I check turn. That said, after double barreling, i think betting river is not bad. Make sure you pause just right amount of time, not quick like continued bluff/tilt and not real long like 'uh oh, what do i do, guess i better bet.' |
