Let me explain myself. There are times to lay down overpairs. Here are the main things I consider:

1. How good is my overpair? I.e. could I get beat not only by a set, but by aces or kings, etc.?
2. Could villain have a flush draw? strt draw?
3. Is the pot HU or multi-way?

All of these things are going your way. You can't fold overpairs to every raise. This looks like a good one to get it in. Also, villain has >300 BBs so he could be bullying.

So you guys think a draw is a good part of his range after he check-raises me on the flop? Besides 98d I can't think of any draw that really makes at least some sense for him to do this with.

I was really thinking JJ,QQ,set, with a small liklihood of some sort of drawing hand.

This guy plays 1/3 of his hands he could def have a draw here. Also, he could have QQ/JJ, but its likely that he RRs these pf with a 22% pfr, obv I cant say though for sure though. I get it in now to charge a draw and so that a scare card doesnt hit on the turn and kill our action.

It's not only that he could have a draw. You are representing a draw as well.
