3/6 - KJ hits two pair on scary board. Standard?
Villain here is loose and passive preflop, but exhibits typical 3/6 donkish aggression postflop. Does anyone get creative here?

Re: 3/6 - KJ hits two pair on scary board. Standard?
Mp Betting out on the flop when Button 3-bets is wierd. why no checkraise.?
But I like your line since we don't wanna fold it and should we raise we are only folding worse hands and getting 3-bet by a str8 or set here IMO |

I'd be tempted to raise the turn, but in all actuality calling is probably better. There's just too many ways you could be beat here.

standard i guess, though I could almost fold on the flop since you're going to get 3-bet alot by the button and your only really good outs are 4Qs and they don't have great implied odds.

I'd raise the flop to knock out 3rd guy (who folded anyway), and play rest the same.

Re: 3/6 - KJ hits two pair on scary board. Standard?
Turn and river seem fine. I don't like a turn raise b/c getting 3-bet sucks considering you likely have 4 outs to win and 3 to a chop. I'd rather just show down for the same cost and let him keep betting his Ax if that's what he has. Flop call seems ok but close considering button is raising a lot here and MP may 3-bet and your outs are tainted.

Thanks guys - I just wanted to make sure this one was making sense. I've been working on doing a little more checking and calling in some spots, esp against aggressive opponents.
Anyhow, villain had AQ and MHING. -Brian |
