Garret Anderson, oldie but goodie, last 4 years has seen his slg % drop >100 pts to .431. For our big bopper. Main man. "Producaaaaaaaaaa"

Our DH, with a career high of 21 homers (he's reached 20 twice), brings his career .323 on base.

I know Vlad, Kendrick (lol rookie wtf), and Rivera are out. Still. This is embarassing.

On a positive note, I noticed that Danny Haren looks very nice in a beard judging by his mlb gameday photo.

"When we got guys on base, I don't want them to worry about getting on base or working counts. I want them to try and drive in some runs."

"We are swinging out too many of their pitches. We need to swing at our pitch. I don't like guys watching the first pitch fastball go by."

i doubt it, kbz - it's mickey hatcher, whose highest walk total was 37 - and he had 500+ ABs. the angels have always stayed away from guys who can work walks - the fact that they managed to beat the yankees in 2 playoff series really says a lot for variance winning over stupidity.
