Late night meal
So whey protein is taken up very quickly making it good for right around a workout.
Is there any type of protein(s) that are especially good to eat right before you go to bed because they don't digest as fast and would give you a steadier supply throughout the night? Chicken, beef, fish, beans, cacein... Bonus question: My protein shake has 1000 calories, 50g protein, 150g carbs/glucides. Is there anything to be gained by eating rice (thinking something with complex carbs) with it or are the carbs in the shake all you need? |
