It's obvious he had the better hand or I wouldn't be posting this, but I find this to be a fairly common situation especially in the turbos.

My thoughts was that if I fold, he picks up the 600 in the pot, putting him at over 2500 (200/400 blinds), leaving me in really bad shape. Calling and winning would leave him with &lt; 1BB and in the SB. Standard or is there any reason to fold here?

I realize for many it's standard. Call me a tightwad nit, but I prefer to shove any A or K - or maybe JT or Q9 - but Q4 in the SB? I think we pick up something a little better in the next 4 hands - and yes, I realize that likely means re-popping from the BB vs. an attempted steal...

So its pretty much agreed that the shove is standard vs the other short stack. What if one of the big stacks was BB? Is the shove still standard?
