Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
you're straight is obvious b/c of the board. you're splitting at best and drawing dead most of the time i think. a lot of the time you're splitting you're also getting free-rolled

Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
hmm. may i suggest it may be better to check the turn for pot control and to induce a bluff on the river from weaker hands.
you are WA/WB here, and i'm not sure what weaker hand calls this turn bet. |

Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
Turn check behind is good here. As played I think it's a fold unless villain has shown really retarded hands down.

Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
I personally like the bet-fold play on the turn.
I think checking behind is bad because there are so many 1 card draws out there, and would hate to lose to KJ or something if a Q rivered, or any spade, or let 2 pair fill up etc. |

Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
Check turn. Yes, your draw got there but so did all the others.
Call a reasonable bet on the river. You'll loose sometimes to KQ/flush but he'll bet set/overpair/TP type hands too. |

Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
Result: after replaying previous hands in my head and going back through it as many times as I could in the 15 seconds allowed, I donkey kong called him...

Re: NL100 FTP: Trapped or Ahead?
I think you need to bet the turn because the pot is large and you don't want to give a free card to some crappy spade that would fold. Are you good here ~30% of the time? I think it is possible.
