600NL: AA, strange river action
Villain is 17/7/1. Do you bet river? Do you call his c/r?

Re: 600NL: AA, strange river action
17/7/1 i don't see you being good ever with 1 pair here,
also i don't know if it is common for you to get 3 streets of value with over pair? |

Re: 600NL: AA, strange river action
i think if you are going to bet turn you do so with intention of betting the river as well.
which is why i check turn since this guy probably doesnt peel with much. given action, i vote fold. |

Re: 600NL: AA, strange river action
I'd probably bet a little more on the turn, and generally shove river if checked to, though it might be a little thin against this guy, especially if he can check 3 streets with something like a set.
I think the turn is a great spot to bet, especially against thinking players, since it's often a pretty good spot to second barrel. As played, I don't really like your bet sizing on the river, especially if you bet, say the nuts, differently and I think you should probably fold to the c/r. |
