hand 1 is tough. without a read i probably fold the flop. you missed your set and 88 doesnt play very well multiway. pretty much every card in the deck will be a scare card for you on the turn.

hand 2: i really dont like cbetting into 3 other players. i probably check call a small bet on the turn and fold to big river bet. arguments could also be made for limping utg with JJ lvl 1. either way is fine.

Hand 1: If you think you are ahead on the flop, then push.

Hand 2: PF If you want to play then raise more - 5BB. You want to knock out as many people a possible as you are OOP. Anyone whos calls will be narrowing their hand range which will enable you to make better decisions later on.

I wouldn't c-bet this flop into multiple opponents with two overcards. Anyone who called is likely to have two high cards.

The rest of it is fine.

I didn't address this, but it's a good point. JJ UTG early on is marginal.

limping or raising JJ early, both are fine.
but if you raise, it's got to be like 100-140 IMHO, you don't want multiwaysituations with JJ when you are not playing just for set.

Hand one is tough with these stacks and this particular action. I probably let it go on the flop, even though I'm sometimes folding the winner. I understand your turn call but rarely make it as the SB's betting pattern means we probably need to improve to win.

I think you can definitely release it on the river, despite the attractive price villain's offering, his bet size coupled with his stack size screams 88 is beat.

Hand 2 I'd make it 80 preflop. Your cbet stinks. Its too small and will almost never be successful with this many opponents in the hand and this particular board texture. Check the flop.

I don't want to start a new discussion on JJ. There are only 3 starting hands better than JJ. I wouldn't call that marginal.

I felt I was ahead but thought a push would get called with a big range and didnt feel good about it. Should I ever be raising the flop?

Agree up to the idea of limping JJ at these levels. It's like limping AQ up front to me - always open-raising.
