I am the worst tilter on the face of the planet
I would estimate that I have tilted away 50k dollars this year already. Im still a winning player, but nowhere near as much as i should be. Sometimes i 12 table and just open push everyhand in NL cash, since i am so angry. The only way i ever make any money, is cuz i cashout on nearly a daily basis, so i dont tilt away the money I have. I play alot of tourneys, and i find myself, that once i get bad beat, i bust in almost all the tourneys i am in. When your 20 tablign, that really hurts your EV. Then i might break my monitor, or punch a hole in my wall. Breaks dont help. Tried that. Do any of you guys have any familiarity with counseling, psychotherapy and could make any reccomendations? Like today i was chip leader with 40 left in the 11r, and called off 2/3rds my stack wtih a gutshot since i just got bad beat out of another tourney.
Any help would be awesome. thanks

Often, in reply to a post like this, somebody will predictably reply 'maybe poker isn't for you' or something like that. I've always thought that that was a stupid answer but in your case it might be appropriate. You might be winning for now but there is no way for you to win long term w/ this problem, imo. If I were you I would not play poker until you get this issue resolved.
If you have a personal doctor explaing the problem and ask for a referall. If you don't try searching under 'counseling'.

How do you feel when you are winning?
Do you look at your pt stats and think 'wow, im up 80% this past week and a half, i must take on doyle HU'? Or is it justice from your losing streak? I am very interested in your answer, as i have my own pet theory ill tell you about later... .... ... ...

Well personally, when i am winning, I feel like i deserve it. I know i can play well, and when i am not tilting and running well i am in a very good mood. So yes, my moods are incredibly swingy, from top of the world, to down on life

I don't make enough to lose as much as you, but I've tilted off higher percentages of my roll than you being on tilt. The only thing I can say is that with time, less things will tilt you (emotional hardening?). Things that tilted me when I started don't even phase me now. I think the only things that tilt me now are when I make ass-stupid plays on my own, and lots of them over a long period of time. It's because I may never understand how someone knows something is a mistake, and they commit it anyway.
