You are given a blank check. How much do you take?

A ridiculously but finitely rich corporation with, say, a trillion dollars in liquid assets, gives you a blank check. You can put whatever you want, tax free.

Assumptions:
- Whatever money you take would otherwise be spent towards the good of humanity. The corporation is at least as competent at this as you can be, and has the same values as you, with the following exception:
- The corporation doesn't value your friends/mom/countrymen etc. disproportionately. Ie. your mom has some kind of disease and you could save her or 2 Africans. You'd likely pick your mom; the corporation doesn't care.
- The cost of protecting yourself/your assets is linearly related to the amount of money, and is exactly the same as for the corporation. That money will be 'wasted' (armed security etc.) anyway.

How selfish would you be?

EDIT: If you really want to take more than a trillion, you can. Just assume that the amount isn't something like ten times the world's money supply, which would throw the whole economy out of whack.
